Help Us Help Our Grantees Serve Our Community Better

Our volunteer activities expand the impact of our grants. We offer community service to all of our non-profit grant recipients. In this way, we stay connected to these groups and the community. Volunteer activities are open to members and non-members alike. If you would like to become involved in the work we are doing, here are some options:

• Volunteer monthly

Every month, Giving Together members and volunteers work together at grantee sites. See the Volunteer Activities Calendar for details.

• Volunteer for special service projects

Throughout the year there are opportunities for members and volunteers to come together to work on special activities at grantee sites.

• Volunteer to serve as a liaison with one of our grantees

The role of a liaison is to maintain an ongoing connection with a grantee to support the work they are doing in the community. To learn more, click here.

• Meet grantees' ongoing needs

All of our grantees collect and distribute a variety of things like gift cards, cleaning supplies, nonperishable food, computers and more. Many of them also need online help with job searches, computer classes, etc. You can read more about this on our grantees’ websites, available below.

If you’d like to buy or collect something for one of the programs but aren’t able to do the drop off, please let us know and we’ll help with the logistics.
