Nourish Now Welcomes GT Volunteers on MLK Day

Nine GT volunteers spent the 2024 Martin Luther King holiday and National Day of Service bagging food at Nourish Now for hungry families in Montgomery County. GT put together more than 80 bags filled with staples such as milk, coffee, cans of vegetables, fruit, pasta & pasta sauce, fish, rice and dried peas, as well as snacks such as granola bars and popcorn. The food we packed was scheduled for distribution throughout the holiday week (January 15--19) to families who come to Nourish Now distribution sites throughout the county. Nourish Now was awarded a GT grant in 2016.
